Passing stranger! You do not know how longingly I look upon you.
You must be he I was seeking, or she I was seeking (it comes to me as of a dream)
I have somewhere surely lived a life of joy with you,
As I recalled as we flit by each other, fluid, affectionate, chaste, matured,
You grew up with me, were a boy with me, or a girl with me,
I ate with you and slept with you, your body had become not yours,
Only nor left my body mine only,
You give me the pleasure of your eyes, face, flesh, as we pass, you take
Of my bread, breast, hands, in return.
I am not to speak to you, I am to think of you when I sit alone, or wake at night alone,
I am to wait, I do not doubt I am to meet you again,
I am to see to it that I do not lose you.
-Walt Whitman
I decided to take a mental health day. The snow may or may not have influenced my decision. I didn't sleep well at all last night. Lots of tossing and turning, dreams waking me, and text messages from Point Park's weather alert system. I should probably ask them to remove me from that list.
Everything is a learning experience.

Thank God No Monsters Showed Up
Broke, but Rich at Heart
I am constantly amazed by the people in my life in the best possible way. I believe that who an individual surrounds themselves with says a lot about a person.
Alyssa Andrews. The most resilient person I have ever met. Life hands her lemons, she says "eat this, asshole" and throws those lemons right back. Don't even think about messing with her, because when enraged, she is the tallest 4'11 person you will EVER come across. The more I go on, the more inflated her ego will become (yes, it is possible), but I can't help myself. She always shoots it straight and true. Rare quality. Most often those who claim to be honest people, are, the majority of the time. Not always. With her, it's always. Overall, Extraordinary Machine.
Ashley and I signed our lease for this summer. Definitely looking forward to that.
Advice I've been following : Take it day by day, and accept that you have no control over this.
You should listen to Cloud Cult. I can't stop.
You're a lovely person.

Summer of '05
Was inspired to read through old Xanga posts. Some things never change.
- I was reading Choke.
- I was the star in one of Jordan's films while he was still at the Art Institute.
- While in Reno I talked about how horrible it was going to be to come home. Spoke of running away to France. I don't know why I chose France?
- My myspace account was terminated!!! Hahaha, I was soo upset.
- Rachel (now my stepmother, at the time just my dad's gf) went psycho. I still have not forgiven her for that incident.
- Went to San Francisco for my 16th birthday. How sweet.
- Direct quote "I'm going to The Green Room tonight to see Who Cares play, but I need to get ahold of Jamal first to make sure he'll be working the door, or else no show for this underage alcoholic!". I had just turned 16. Damn.
- Left Reno early because of the psycho.
- Talked about missing Mac. Story of my life.
- Cut my long black hair, dyed it red. Like candy apple red.
- Then my. . .junior year started? I think.
And I was constantly referring to absolutely everyone as "kid". Also, quoted mean girls quite often. Reading all of those posts was absolutely hilarious. Highlight of my day. Thus far.

I couldn't help myself.

Yes Jake, apparently the days of Xanga and livejournal are over. Almost makes me shed a tear. I remember spilling all of my intimate secrets and private thoughts for all of my fellow bloggers to see. Hopefully this blog will be slightly different. More focus on things that may pertain to any or all of you, less about all of the cute boys (or not so cute) that I'm crushing on soooo badly. I don't crush anymore. So I guess that's cool. And now I have awesome siblings. Above is Zanobia Grace.
Lately my days have been spent inside my head. And watching Curb Your Enthusiasm. Hilarious. I have a lot of plans. I want to follow through with these. This time, I think I will.
Much Obama Love.
p.s. my roomies have a website. check it.
